LONDON, UK – Shreddies The Honey One has been named Product of the Year in the Cereal category, following a survey of 8,000 people by Kantar as part of the Product of the Year Awards 2023. The win cements the cereal’s status as a firm favourite among consumers just one year after its release.

The Product of the Year awards are the UK’s largest consumer survey of product innovation, surveying Brits on their most loved products, across a variety of categories including food, beverage, and personal care.

The Honey variant of the family favourite brand is another tasty addition to the growing portfolio of delicious, high-fibre breakfast options produced by Nestlé.

The product is made with 100% whole grain and real honey – one of the most popular flavours for cereal, is free from artificial colours and flavours, and is fortified with 5 vitamins and iron – ensuring consumers can enjoy, as part of a balanced breakfast, a breakfast option that doesn’t compromise on taste.

Nestlé’s continued expansion of its product portfolio with no red traffic lights forms part of the cereal manufacturer’s mission to improve the nutritional value of its products and support its pledge to “Make Breakfast Better”.

Sarah Fordy, Head of Marketing, Nestlé UK & Ireland Cereals, makers of Shreddies The Honey One, said: “We are delighted that Shreddies The Honey One has been voted Product of the Year in the Cereal category by UK consumers at the Product of the Year awards.

At Nestlé Cereals, we’re constantly innovating our product offerings to meet the changing needs of our customers, and so we’re pleased that this has been reflected in the high number of votes we received at arguably the most prestigious consumer product awards in the country”

The packaging of Shreddies The Honey One will be updated to include the Product of the Year logo in the coming months.
