RIMINI, Italy– Can an expo that highlights the confectionery art be glamorous? The reply, in the case of SIGEP (Rimini Fiera´s International Exhibition of Artisan Gelato, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery production, whose 36th edition will be held from January 17th to 21st) is affirmative.
There again, fashion and art are acknowledged as excellent Italian-made products and food and fashion have been ´flirting´ for some time.
Luigi Gambarini, founder of the Gambarini & Muti agency that was responsible for 2015 advertising, explains, ´The performances of gelato and Italian artisan pastry will attract a wave of brands featuring good taste to Rimini, characterized by creativity, geniality and a new format, in which coffee, bread and pizza are also involved.´
For this operation, SIGEP chose a glamorous look, where fashion and trends are combined with the values of Italian artisan products that are famous and admired worldwide.
The backstage of the SIGEP image thus includes 6 sets, interpreted by the same number of cover girls: gelato, pastry, chocolate, coffee, bread and pizza. Each cover represents a different fashion format, symbolizing the value of the ´tailor-made´ nature of the Rimini Fiera expo, thanks to which each type of exhibitor and visitor can find an exhibition solution perfectly matching his or her needs.
