MILAN – Mumac Academy and Slayer events are continuing with the fourth session on 28 April devoted to all true “coffee people”. Mumac Academy is turning the spotlight on the Slayer brand with a series of events dedicated to its iconic products and addicts. The fourth online training session will feature an explosive mix: Slayer and blend. Together with Antonio Biscotti, co-owner and roaster at Torrefazione Griso, the session will address the topic of blending, a subject that is very important for coffee professionals.
It will explore the different characteristics of a blend compared to a single-origin coffee and tell the story of an Italian victory through an account of the Griso blend, which won the platinum medal at the International Coffee Tasting competition.
There will also be practical demonstrations on the relationship between blends and coffee machines
Participants will discover how Slayer Espresso, thanks to its unique features, can best enhance the Italian blend.
The event is organized in collaboration with Specialty Pal, a coffee influencer and promoter of high-quality coffee.
Slayer has been part of Gruppo Cimbali since the end of 2017. The partnership, which was part of the expansion strategy of the brand and Group, has consolidated its position in the specialty coffee segment.
The acquisition has allowed Gruppo Cimbali to strengthen its foothold in the American market through a direct presence in Seattle, one of the hubs of espresso coffee worldwide.
The online workshop, which is free of charge and restricted to a limited number of participants, will be held on 28 April at 16:00 on Microsoft Teams (Italian Language)
