LONDON — London-based chain Soho Coffee Co. has partnered with Yoyo, a European mobile payments platform, to launch a mobile loyalty and payments app, according to a company announcement
Soho Coffee, a 40-unit chain that sells Organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee and handmade food, will roll out the app to all company-owned locations in the U.K. Available on iOS and Android, the app will provide secure mobile payment, automated loyalty points, Soho product rewards and itemized digital receipts at the point of sale.
Customers will get 100 points for every $1.32 (1 British pound) they spend on the app. In-app points can be redeemed for various food and drink rewards.
“Having thought long and hard about how we can best reward our loyal customers, we believe our new in-app points rewards scheme fulfills this simply and conveniently,” Penny Manuel, managing director at Soho Coffee said in the release.
