SOUTH AFRICA – Ciro Coffee opens office, Academy in Nelspruit

Ciro Coffee, a leading coffee manufacturer in South Africa, has opened a new office in Nelspruit, in northeastern South Africa, incorporating a Coffee Academy and showroom displaying its product offerings to the hotel, restaurant and office markets.
This includes patented technology from global coffee brands such as Lavazza and Douwe Egberts as well as best-in-class equipment from international partners/suppliers including vending, fully-automatic espresso machines and filter coffee solutions to name a few.
The barista training offered by the Academy covers subjects from the history of coffee, coffee cultivation, production, palate development, cupping and familiarisation with the required equipment to make proper espresso-based coffee with an emphasis on innovation, creativity and skill. The training centre has several workstations, where trainees will be able to use the machines and review their coffee making techniques with a trained and qualified professional.
