MILAN (ITALY) – “Let’s play” is Dalla Corte’s invitation to visitors at the World of Coffee event scheduled for 10 to 12 June at Riminifiera in Rimini, Italy. A captivating, amazing virtual journey is being offered at DC’s booth, as well as the chance to test the excellent result in cup obtained by means of its advanced technology, which is a benchmark for the whole sector.
Let’s meet, then, from 10 to 12 June in the wide open-space area set up in pav. A7 – booth 55 of Riminifiera. Here, due to the presence of several augmented-reality workstations, visitors will have the chance to enter a ‘new dimension’ through their smartphones and meet the event’s protagonists, access Dalla Corte’s plant in Baranzate (Milan), see the production of some (strictly hand-made) machine parts from close up and observe the details that actually make a difference.
Two machines – a dc pro and an evo2 – will be placed at booth ends and encased in Plexiglas, thus allowing testing and observation of their inner details, with three dc one grinders placed next to each of them. The extremely simple and essential design of the machine and its components are striking – a linearity that’s the result of a thorough study and makes machine operation and fixing quick and easy.
Innovative treatments The spotlight is on state-of-the-art brewing groups made with innovative materials. In the USA, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has defined the new criteria for the suitability of some materials that come into contact with food: the observance of such rules is mandatory in the USA, while no enforcement has been imposed in Europe yet.
Dalla Corte decided to make a step forward in this direction and use a new alloy for manufacturing the parts that come into contact with water. This alloy does not release heavy metals such as lead, nickel and chromium, but maintains the traditional reliability and great thermal stability of Dalla Corte’s machines.
Face to face with the expert Baristas and roasters are invited to meet our dc coffee pros Andrej Godina and Fabrizio Sención Ramirez, two of the seven professionals chosen by Dalla Corte to spread its mission in the world: offering customized, high-quality solutions to meet any professional’s needs.
They are great coffee experts and enthusiasts and offer their competency to anyone looking for advice. Andrej Godina can guide visitors in the “proof of taste”, the only way to excellence. As a matter of fact, the perfect espresso can be obtained by adjusting temperature – and temperature alone – on Dalla Corte machines: a perfection that is immediately perceived by the palate and can be repeated through time.
Fabrizio is also at visitors’ disposal to dispel any doubts, explain extraction techniques and describe the peculiarities of Dalla Corte machines in detail.
Training goes on throughout the year at “Spazio Candiani” in Milan, where a complete training path takes place, from foundation-level courses, to latte art and coffee in good spirits theory and practice, tasting methods, roasting courses, up to Specialty Coffee Association of Europe certifications.
On nature’s side Among the coffees to be tasted, Orang Utan Coffee stands out. This organic production is the result of a project aimed at safeguarding the orangutans and tropical flora of Sumatra by creating two protected areas. This project involves the farmers of the Jantho preserve, where the Takengon plantations are, producing a high-quality Arabica coffee.
Dalla Corte has been contributing to this important project with its Orangutan Coffee Lab, a training & support centre for farmers, who have been provided with Dalla Corte machines, as well as with training & technical support by our dc pros.
We are waiting for you at our lively and interesting booth where dialogue, debate and listening are the protagonists. An open-minded approach has always characterized Dalla Corte, which has now ended its second three-year period as official sponsor of Latte Art and Coffee in Good Spirits competitions.
Its dc pro espresso machine has undergone a new two-day “quality test” carried out by the World of Coffee Event specialists who will evaluate water thermal stability, as well as product ergonomics and functionality of extraction. The reliability of the original multi-boiler technology has remained unvaried; we are sure that the test will provide positive results, once again.
