SEATTLE, U.S. – Coffee farmers, buyers, roasters, retailers and baristas from around the world are gathering in Seattle this week to show off their wares, compete in the U.S. Coffee Championships and do business.
The Specialty Coffee Expo features hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest and most innovative products on the market.
Thousands attendees from more than 75 countries are expected to visit the show.
Lectures & Coffee Skills Program classes will cover a wide array of topics of interest to the specialty coffee industry.
Also, the U.S. Coffee Championships begin today, with the final rounds contested on Sunday.
At the coffee symposium Re;Co Seattle, which took place on Wednesday and Thursday, on the sidelines of Expo, talk focused on challenges ranging from climate change and consolidation to the industry’s struggles with equity, diversity and inclusion up and down the supply chain.
The Expo runs through Sunday, April 22.
