TORONTO, Canada — Spot Coffee (“SPoT” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it is in the final stage of developing a comprehensive, customized software program to grow franchise sales, improve brand awareness and engage new and existing Spot customers.
The Company’s management is keenly aware of the need for software solutions that allow it to speak directly with a broader audience of interested franchisees (both individual and multi-unit), valued patrons and new neighbourhood customers.
The anticipated digital marketing and interaction platform is designed to satisfy that need, and to propel the Company into a new age of targeted promotional advertising for its franchise sales program, streamlined information management, and customer and franchisee satisfaction. Spot’s program includes the following key components:
- Mobile software application containing an integrated customer rewards program, regularly updated promotional material, and a retail e-commerce solution
- Webinars for interested franchisees featuring real-time question and answer sessions prior to scheduling face-to-face engagements and finalizing new franchise agreements
- Salient information and updates, including café opening schedules and financial performance reviews, for both new and existing shareholders of the Company
Operations Update
Spot’s entire management team has spent the first part of this year focusing on debt reduction, cost controls and savings, the implementation of a new, advanced accounting and reporting system, and the completion of the following three (3) new Spot Coffee franchise locations:
- Spot Coffee Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (NY) — Opening on June 27, 2018
- Spot Coffee Amherst (NY) — Opening in August, 2018
- Spot Coffee West Seneca (NY) — Opening in September, 2018
Spot has also signed another new franchise agreement for the Clarence, NY area and is presently in the process of identifying a location that suits the Company’s criteria.

Management Update
The Company is also pleased to report that it has handed all corporate and franchise café operations to Mr. Dan Hensley, now Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Spot Coffee.
The depth of Mr. Hensley’s experience in franchise operations and management of multi-unit hospitality companies, combined with his drive to oversee Spot Coffee’s efforts to control costs and achieve sustained profitability, qualified him for his new role
