These are the principles that inspire Spreafico, a company based in Calolziocorte, Lecco, specialized in the manufacturing of comprehensive solutions for the packaging and control of coffee and soluble products such as tea and ginseng.
The company, that celebrated 40 years of business in 2015, can now boast a unique know-how in the industry, so much that it has already produced systems for all of the main capsule types requested by the market.

For Spreafico, then, taking part in the 2015 edition of Host has two meanings: on one side, the company desires to showcase its portfolio for anyone who is still not familiar with its products and is looking for advanced and cost effective solutions for capsule packaging; on the other side, the company wishes to show its established customers its renewed drive to innovate, represented, among other things, by the new company image that includes a new logo and a new website.
Technology on display
In Milan, Spreafico will introduce a new six lanes unit, which will feature original mechanical and electronic solutions. First of all, all of the stations of the system – i.e. the three molds and the suction and pressing units – will be removable, in order to facilitate cleaning and reduce down times.
The new setting prevents down times due to capsule possibly getting stuck and greatly facilitates management operations and optimizes the production cycle. From an electronic point of view, the new machine features a system that manages all of the processes in synch, in order to increase precision and reliability.
The handling speeds of the various components have also been optimized, in order to extend the life of all of the mechanical parts. Lastly, versatility has also been increased, thanks to a different management of dosing and welding times, that makes it possible for the machine to adjust without problems to different heat-sealing materials.
