This video, titled “Drone-Thru,” was posted to a YouTube channel belonging to Austin Coon. It shows the drone from take-off to its coffee-safe landing.
WDIV-TV Local 4 reports Coon ordered a caramel mocha with soy and extra whip cream from the Starbucks at Ford Road and Lotz in Canton.
Before picking up the order, Coon called the franchise and asked if it was all right. In the comments section of the video, Coon claims the drone can carry up to 2 pounds and that he still had more than half of his coffee upon retrieval.
