Susan Tegt joins Scooter’s Coffee as Chief Legal Officer

OMAHA, Neb., USA – As Scooter’s Coffee continues to accelerate its rapid brand growth, Susan Tegt has joined the company as Chief Legal Officer. Tegt, an experienced franchise attorney, will lead the Scooter’s Coffee legal team and provide strategic counsel while ensuring compliance with franchising regulations and safeguarding the organization’s interests.

Susan Tegt previously supported Scooter’s Coffee as outside counsel with Larkin Hoffman Daly & Lindgren, Ltd. Through her role there as Shareholder and Director, she served as an attorney specializing in franchise, intellectual property and commercial litigation, and arbitration.

Prior to that, Tegt was Senior Counsel for Self Esteem Brands, LLC., managing the domestic legal affairs and compliance programs for two franchise brands.

She also spent seven years as a stand-out Associate Attorney at two firms in Minneapolis, Minn. with special recognition from the Minnesota State Bar Association and Minnesota Super Lawyer magazine.

With her keen focus on building strong relationships through trust, responsiveness and humility, Tegt has a passion for driving franchisee revenue and corporate success.

She is an industry-awarded attorney holding designations of “Best Lawyer in America – Franchise Law,” “Who’s Who in Franchise Law,” and “Franchise Legal Eagle” since 2018.
