UTZ Certified are pleased to announce that an independent evaluation has found that they comply with the Code of Good Practice for Assessing the Impacts of Social and Environmental Standards (Impacts Code) of the ISEAL Alliance, the global membership organisation for credible sustainability standards.

You can read more about the impact of their work in the most recent Impact Report (https://utzcertified.org/en/mediacenter/reports-brochures/26582894).

Bringing together 24 studies, it shows that UTZ certified cocoa, coffee and tea farms generate higher yields and better quality crops than conventional farms, and being trained in the UTZ Code of Conduct helps farmers to improve their knowledge and adopt sustainable farming practices.

As a result, farmers can generate more income and create better opportunities while safeguarding the environment.

You can find the public M&E system report and related documents at: https://www.utzcertified.org/en/aboututzcertified/monitoring-evaluation.
