MILAN, Italy – Coffee Star Induction will be present at Host (Pav.22, st. Q68) with the world’s innovative all-electric roasting patent employing the already well-known technology that uses the principles of electromagnetic induction. The company was born from the industrial and human partnership of Sweet Coffee Italia together with Ferrari & Carena; the latter, a leader in the field of fine blanking presses, has combined its know-how with that of Sweet Coffee Italia, a manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience in the field of electric roasting.
The electrical industrial roaster with electromagnetic induction drive
As early as late 2014, Mario Di Santo and Gregorio Milella, stroking the idea of fleshing out their friendship, began nurturing the object we can see live today: harnessing the innovative, completely green technology of electromagnetic induction and transferring it to the world of coffee.
After investing years and significant resources in R&D, having successfully tested the system (which is the subject of a patent), Coffee Star Induction now presents itself on the world stage with a complete range, from 2Kg to 120Kg/cycle, projecting production to the highest productivity plants.
The simplicity of the system, its functionality and reliability in results, will break through the world of traditional roasting.
The future requires: energy savings, emission reductions and a not inconsiderable commitment to environmental sustainability; today this is met by the induction system through energy efficiency.
The company has managed to implement a chamber with very low dispersion, homogeneous coffee cooking, reduced energy demand with consumption reduced by up to 60%, also thanks to a refined control of the thermal profile compared to roasters currently on the market.
The innovative electromagnetic induction system, by not using hydrocarbons, originally guarantees the absence of NOx, Formaldehyde, CO2 and CO, without the need for the use of smoke burners; the roasting plant that adopts this technology immediately becomes compliant with the most restrictive environmental regulations, reclassifying its activity as “low fire risk.”
Electromagnetic induction, using nothing but pure heat, restores to coffee thus roasted that original flavor and aroma that brings us back to the coffee of our grandparents’ homes.
Sweet Coffee Italia looks forward to welcoming roasting specialists at its booth set up at the Host exhibition in Milan, Pav.22, st. Q68, to learn more about these topics.
