LOS ANGELES, California, U.S. – On the heels of a successful New York City pop-up in the fall of 2015, which drew more than 10,000 visitors who consumed more than 15,000 coffee-based drinks, Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company brings its amazing coffee without caffeine experience to the west coast.
Swiss Water® will host a 10-day pop-up coffee taste experience at 1421 Abbot Kinney in Venice, California beginning with a grand opening on Friday, October 14 and running through Sunday, October 23, open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm each day.
Swiss Water® is a 100% chemical free process that gently removes caffeine (and nothing else) from specialty coffee for coffee roasters including Stumptown, Blue Bottle, Verve Coffee and Allegro Coffee (Whole Foods).
The pop-up will serve hand-crafted brewing methods including pour over, Chemex and espresso, as well as more innovative methods like siphon, cold brew and Aeropress, among others.
Because all the coffees are 99.9% caffeine free, guests can experience all the complimentary coffee they want without becoming over-caffeinated.
“After the success of our New York City event last fall, we are excited to share the incredible coffee without caffeine taste experience with Angelenos. Our LA pop-up will definitively break any stereotypes people have about decaf,” said Frank Dennis, President and CEO of Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company.
“Venice is the perfect setting to drink exceptionally fine coffee all day and into the evening, because the evening is more fun anyways, isn’t it?”
To create a full sensory experience, Swiss Water® has slated a lineup of evening events featuring top local chefs and mixologists offering the ultimate in food and coffee pairings, coffee cocktails, as well as LA-based DJs and musical acts.
