TAIPEI, Taiwan — The Taiwan Tea, Coffee & Wine Expo is scheduled to be held at the Taipei World Trade Center between Nov. 22-25. A press conference was held yesterday to promote the event. The Taiwan International Tourism Souvenirs Exhibition, Taiwan International Chain Store Fair, and Trendy Food Show will also be held simultaneously.
The Taiwan World Barista Championship and Taiwan Latte Art Championship will also be held at the event. Winners will represent Taiwan at the 2014 World Barista Championship in Rimini, Italy, and at the 2014 Latte Art Championship in Melbourne, Australia. Winners from previous competitions attended yesterday’s press conference to show their support for the event.
One of the objectives of holding competitions is to promote coffee culture , while pushing Taiwan’s coffee professionalism to the global community.
A number of precious coffee and tea drinking utensils will also be showcased at the event. Among various merchants, Bialetti will showcase its classic coffee makers, renowned for their elegant design and technological simplicity.

Adult tickets are NT$200 (about Us$7) and discounted tickets (for children under 12 years old and seniors over 65) are NT$100.
