VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada — Ten Peaks Coffee Company Inc. (“Ten Peaks”) today announced that, effective September 28, 2018, it has amalgamated with its 100% owned subsidiary, Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company Inc., and concurrently changed its corporate name to Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Inc. (“Swiss Water”).
Shareholders approved a special resolution to change the name at Ten Peaks’ Annual and Special Meeting held on June 19, 2018.
“There is considerable brand equity in the “Swiss Water” name, along with the related trademarks and intellectual property of our Swiss Water Process. Customers and coffee industry participants around the world already know us as Swiss Water.
Changing our corporate name to Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Inc. better reflects our business and its value to all stakeholders including shareholders,” said Frank Dennis, President and ceo.
“The name change also simplifies our corporate structure and reduces administrative requirements.”
“Our shares will continue to trade under our existing “TPK” ticker symbol on the TSX until our new ticker symbol (“SWP”) becomes effective sometime over the next few weeks,” Dennis added.
