PONTEVEDRA, Spain – From 11 to 14 May, the Spanish region of Galicia will come to life with tasting sessions, contests and workshops dedicated to the multifaceted world of coffee, as part of the fourth edition of the Spain Coffee Festival event.
This trade fair has been specifically conceived to valorise the artisanal nature of espresso coffee and the most delicious variations on this theme.
The high-end Rancilio Classe 11 machine has been selected by SCA Spain to sponsor the Cafeteria and Coffee in Good Spirits Championships due to take place during the four days of the Pontevedra event.
As many as six coffee machines have been made available to participants: three in the competition area and three behind the scenes to enable contestants to practise and test their performance.
In recent years, Spain and the Spanish people have also started to take a different view of coffee; the market has begun to seek new ways of creating special blends and mono origin coffees with unusual aromas.
In such a scenario, there is plenty of scope for Xcelsius Temperature Profiling, the Rancilio technology which fully enhances the organoleptic properties encapsulated in coffee beans.
During the Coffee Festival of Pontevedra, Rancilio will once more be presenting the Extraction LAB format in their exhibition space, following its launch a few weeks ago in London at the city’s Coffee Festival.
An invitation is extended to Spanish coffee roasters to test their products on the Classe 11 Xcelsium, as well as to all coffee enthusiasts who are welcome to join in a fun party, punctuated by gourmet tasting sessions.
