The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf appoints Adam Tabachnikoff as Senior Vice President of Global Brand Strategy and Head of Marketing

LOS ANGELES, U.S. – The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf —the oldest and largest privately held specialty coffee and tea retailer in the United States—is pleased to announce the addition of Adam Tabachnikoff as Senior Vice President of Global Brand Strategy.

Overseeing the global marketing team, Tabachnikoff will lead the charge in managing the company’s marketing initiatives, brand image, and overall in-store customer experience around the world. He will report to CEO, John Fuller.

Tabachnikoff will lead all areas of global marketing including new product innovation, merchandising, advertising, local store marketing, web and digital services, loyalty platforms as well as internal and external communications.

“Adam’s experience with other international restaurant brands provides him a uniquely global perspective and cross-channel marketing expertise that will both strengthen and aggressively expand our global brand initiatives,” said Fuller.

Tabachnikoff brings with him over 20 years of experience in marketing within the quick service restaurant industry, previously acting in leadership roles at Church’s Chicken® and Burger King®.

Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Marketing Activation and Product Innovation at Church’s Chicken® where he played a significant role in the company’s new brand positioning and launch of a new digital marketing platform.

Additionally, he oversaw new product development, calendar planning, merchandising, strategic partnership marketing, promotions and public relations. He previously served as the head of international marketing for the brand in more than 20 countries and international territories.

Tabachnikoff received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia and also holds an international MBA degree from the University of Nyenrode in the Netherlands.
