MILAN – The European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA) has announced the of this year’s Evex in Krakow (due to take place 16-18 September), with the event now planned to take place in 2021. The decision is based on facts says EVA.
“First is the uncertainty caused by the Covid-situation in Europe: flights and border restrictions that could force us to cancel the event at the last minute.
Second, our primary concern is always the responsibility we feel towards our exhibitors and partners, who fund the show – not only by purchasing stand space but also in the considerable additional investment they make by supporting EVEX as sponsor.
During these challenging times, we fully understand that our members and partners are focused on their contingency plans & operational activities as top priorities.
Based on these factors – uncertainty around whether EVEX will be allowed to proceed, as well as doubts as to the number of participants who will be able to attend – have led us to the conclusion that we now have no option but to postpone EVEX.
We believe that this is the best decision for the industry and we are so thankful for the support that has already been shown to us.”
Committed to serving the industry
EVA is already working on a new edition of EVEX taking into account the new reality the industry is facing in these difficult times.
“We have been very pleased about all the members that declared their interest in the EVEX sponsorship and it is with pleasure that we will welcome them as sponsors next year. The previous bookings will be taken into consideration,” said the Association.

More information about the organisation of the EVA General Assembly meeting will be communicated shortly, along with the dates of EVEX 2021.

The EVA organises annually the European Vending Experience (EVEX) in collaboration with a national vending association.
While the programme is flexible, the event typically combines two days of Conferences, networking, cultural activities and a small commercial exhibition, as well as the EVA Annual General Assembly. Since the first edition in 2015, EVEX has been held in Malaga (Spain, 2015), Cannes (France, 2016), Rome (Italy, 2017) and Seville (Spain, 2018).
