ORRVILLE, Ohio, U.S. – The J. M. Smucker Company has announce the appointments of Bryan Hutson, Senior Vice President, Information Services; Dan Nowicki, Senior Vice President, Procurement and Commodities; and Charlene Zappa, Senior Vice President, Growth and Consumer Engagement, as Company Officers.
Their appointments reinforce the importance of technology, procurement, innovation and marketing to the Company’s success.
Hutson oversees the Company’s technology strategy for all aspects of the organization and plays a key role in Smucker’s ongoing margin management initiatives. His experience includes more than 20 years of leadership roles in information services, corporate development and supply chain logistics.
Nowicki has responsibility for ensuring Smucker’s multi-billion-dollar annual sourcing initiatives efficiently support the Company’s needs. With more than 34 years of experience, he has a proven track record in purchasing and procurement leadership, both at Smucker and Procter & Gamble.
Zappa oversees the Company’s consumer engagement and innovation teams dedicated to helping build brands. She has more than 22 years of experience driving successful innovation and consumer engagement initiatives in the CPG industry, including most recently at Procter & Gamble.
Additionally, current Company Officer, Randy Day is assuming responsibility for the Company’s supply chain function in the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and Operations.
