MILAN, Italy – A single format for an event on a global scale: Host Milano is not just the world’s leading event for the Ho.Re.Ca sector, its semi-finished goods and equipment, furnishings and tableware (in other words everything needed to make a successful establishment). It is also a platform where every two years – the 42nd edition will be held at Fieramilano, from 22 to 26 October 2021, simultaneously with TUTTOFOOD Milan, the global, innovative B2B event for the agri-food sector and national and international reference point in the world for producers and distributors of quality products from the entire food and beverage supply chain – the most important national and international professional hospitality concerns come together to strengthen their businesses and discover all the latest innovations, ones that are big on both quality and technology.
The fair is a trendsetter, previewing all the latest developments in the field of consumer models and new hospitality formats, with hundreds of events involving leading chefs, professionals from the world of coffee, and also master gelato, chocolate and pastry makers. The activities keep Host busy over the whole course of the year through a network of activities that enable it to keep a constant eye on all the relevant supply chains and identify best practices internationally through the protagonists themselves.
The high-quality, in-depth instruments Host has set up in this role as a trendsetter for those involved in the sector include monthly monitoring initiatives and periodical newsletters that are sent out to thousands of Italian and foreign operators all over the world. And then there are the Host Ambassadors, who also accompany us on our journey towards Host2021, explaining the various trends being seen in their own countries.
In its role as a partner to exhibitor firms, Host has also begun a programme of webinars with the precise aim of helping traders to find the best approach to business development in a time of uncertainty like the current one.
In a series of interactive online sessions – organised jointly by BIT (the International Travel Fair), HostMilano and TUTTOFOOD – some of the most authoritative figures in the Food & Beverage and Hospitality sectors have taken part From Dubai to Miami, sharing their projects and ideas on the major topics of the moment in the field of hospitality.
One final, highly dynamic new feature of the show is the newly-launched Fiera Milano Platform for services and advanced media, designed to serve all members of the community. A set of technologically innovative solutions that enable all those involved in the sector to develop a “phygital” experience – one which is both physical and digital – bringing all stakeholders in each area of the Ho.Re.Ca world into contact with one another.
