These are the main advantages of Faema E71 Touch, the new smart and intuitive model by the iconic Gruppo Cimbali brand, which enhances the E71 range and meets the needs of large chains, simplifying baristas’ work.
User-friendly and intuitive touchscreen interface
Coffee dose selection is easy and intuitive thanks to a new 4.3″ touchscreen display with an ergonomic tilt, which is visible from every angle and features programmable dose keys that can be customized with different numbers and colours.
Many new solutions that provide maximum ergonomics
The E71 Touch is equipped with new filter holders designed to optimize ergonomics, with a branded cup and handle, and to maintain high performance even during heavy usage, thanks to the anatomical handle with a 10° tilt that makes the connection to the coffee groups easier and more secure.
Other distinctive new features include the flat cup bottom, which improves the stability of the filter holder during the pressing stage and facilitates the barista’s tasks, including machine cleaning operations.
Finally, the new modular steam wand spouts guarantee greater operational flexibility, according to the type of cups used, and even more thorough cleaning.
Perfect control of brewing and dispensing times
Thanks to the GTi proprietary thermal system, the new Faema model guarantees perfect control of coffee brewing and dispensing times, fully exploiting the characteristics of each blend or single-origin coffee.
The machine’s independent groups allows the barista to program different water temperatures, which makes it possible to prepare an extensive drinks menu.
A “multitasking” machine
The Autosteam feature allows milk to be automatically frothed while the coffee is being prepared. This feature can be programmed via the service display, which enables you to choose four recipes (with 3 levels of milk frothing plus only hot milk) and to activate the new “Purge” feature for instant and effective cleaning of the automatic wand.
Connectivity and the internet of things
E71 Touch is equipped with the exclusive PGS – Perfect Grinding System: constant communication via Bluetooth, between the machine and the grinder, guarantees perfect extraction by automatically adjusting the grinding in terms of dose and grind size, ensuring an excellent and consistent result in the cup.
The BDS – Barista Drive System is the second Bluetooth communication system featured on the new E71 Touch and the on-demand grinder. This system guarantees automatic identification of the dose of coffee required in the grinder/dispenser for the next delivery, which is then communicated to the machine that illuminates the desired dose key; no more errors or coffee waste, and a consistently excellent result in the cup.
E71 Touch, via an optional Wi-Fi module, can be connected to the Cloud where, through the Plat.One platform – available 24/7, secure and only accessible to authorised users –, it is possible to analyse all the information coming from the machine, including statistics regarding its performance and consumption in the course of the day, dispensing parameters and correct observance of the recommended cleaning cycles.

E71 Touch reinterprets the industrial style that characterises the E71 range by presenting two unique designs: Matt Black used for the finishes and, in the soft-touch version, for the steam wands, stainless steel filter holder handles and group casing decorative element, and Blue Pearl & Wood, a colour that evokes the values of the Faema brand – modern and always in line with the latest interior design trends – combined with elegant wooden details.
