PARIS, France – The Paris Café Festival, the festival dedicated to professionals and lover of specialty coffee returns to the Carreau du Temple from 9 to 11 March 2024. The Paris Café Festival aims to showcase the richness of speciality coffee and unite a genuine community that honours the coffee culture with every edition.

“Consumers have become more demanding, both in terms of taste and traceability, which explains the rise in popularity of speciality coffee, this high-quality coffee for which the entire production chain is meticulous,” explains Stéphanie Magnani, co-founder of Paris Festival Café.

The 2024 edition is an excellent opportunity to discover the whole process… from bean to cup.

Sca French Coffee Championships: two new events

As in previous years, the Paris Café Festival will be hosting the French Coffee Championships, organised by the French section of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).

Championship Barista France

The competition promotes excellence in coffee and the advancement of the Barista profession. Participants will each have to prepare 4 espressos, 4 milk drinks and 4 original signature drinks to exacting standards, all in 15 minutes!

Championship Coffee in Good Spirits France

A unique competition to be discovered for the first time at the Paris Café Festival! This competition combines the skills of barista and bartender in a way that goes well beyond the traditional Irish Coffee, and is divided into 3 parts.

Roast Masters

This avant-garde competition set the previous edition alight. It celebrates the world’s best coffee roasters, with 7 brand new events at a frenetic pace and immediate eliminations.

Food Area

A new feature of this year’s event is a brand new area dedicated to food! Visitors will be able to sample a wide range of sweet treats, all served over a hot cup of coffee.

Cupping Zone

Experience an olfactory adventure to the four corners of the world: take advantage of the Cupping sessions to discover all the richness and aromatic complexity of speciality coffees throughout the Festival.

Coffee Trail

A trail that will guide visitors through Le Paris Café Festival, highlighting the experiences and events not to be missed.

Water Bar Brita

Official water supplier to Le Paris Café Festival, Brita provides exhibitors with water profiles adapted to each extraction method, so that festival-goers can enjoy sublime coffees. To try them out and discuss filtered water over a glass of water or a coffee, stop by the BRITA Water Bar.

True Artisan Café by La Marzocco

True Artisan Café celebrates the work of independent artisans. An experience not to be missed at the La Marzocco stand, open to all coffee lovers.

The Roasters’ Village by La Marzocco

The Roasters’ Village by La Marzocco is back every year in Paris, with the best speciality coffees extracted from La Marzocco Linea Mini machines. Taste them without moderation and take your favourites home to develop your barista skills.

The De’longhi Experience

Once again this year, De’Longhi is taking part in the Paris Café Festival. Come and discover their passion for coffee and their Italian know-how through an unforgettable experience. Professional Day: Monday 11 March

Monday 11 March is reserved exclusively for coffee shop and hotel-restaurant professionals. All the most influential players in the speciality coffee sector will be present to anticipate and respond to new consumer expectations.
