SEATTLE, U.S. – Theo Chocolate debuts their revamped 2020 Holiday Collection. With their festive and nostalgic flavors, the chocolate maker creates delicious and joyful moments during a unique holiday season.

“We realized that this year people might not be able to come together to celebrate their usual seasonal traditions,” said Monique Heineman, Brand Manager at Theo Chocolate. “We wanted to inspire holiday cheer by showing how you can use our festive treats for baking and whimsical at-home activities. Our chocolate is made from scratch, so you can feel good giving it as a unique gift to the ones you love.”

Theo Chocolate has been making award-winning, organic and fair trade certified chocolate treats since 2006. In every product they make, Theo invites people to discover a better world through chocolate, and the goal for their Holiday Collection is no different. You’ll find festive chocolate bars, with flavors like Peppermint Crunch 70% Dark Chocolate and Gingerbread Spice 45% Milk Chocolate. And you’ll fall in love with some of their newer treats, like their popular Peppermint Cocoa Cups and their new Peppermint Drinking Chocolate.

“We focus on warm, joy-inducing flavors for Theo Chocolate holiday products. This year, we’re debuting a peppermint version of our ever-popular Drinking Chocolate”, says Katy Radtke, New Product Development Manager. “Made with organic and fair trade 55% dark chocolate and crisp peppermint oil, Theo’s Peppermint Drinking Chocolate is the richest and creamiest hot chocolate beverage you’ll have this season.”

In approaching the Holiday 2020 redesign concepts, Theo’s in-house Design team was inspired by the winter wonderlands found within snow globes and decided to create their own. Each product in the Holiday Collection features a unique illustration, depicting a winter scene comprised of delicious ingredients. For example, you’ll discover gingerbread villages, candy cane sleds, marshmallow snowpeople, and a forest of cranberry-bedecked trees.

“We wanted to create a world that felt warm, cheerful, and wonder-filled. All the illustrations exist within this same world, but each product offers you different glimpse into it,” says Emily Raffensperger, Senior Designer. “There are lots of tiny details, like the woodland animals for example, that carry across from one scene to the next. We hope that sense of fun and playfulness comes through in the packaging.”

This fall, you can find the Theo Holiday Collection on shelves nationwide, including in select Kroger banners. And on November 1st, you can also find all of these products on TheoChocolate.com, including some exciting gift boxes, virtual tasting classes and exclusive handmade holiday treats not available anywhere else.
