MIAMI, U.S. — Tierra Nueva today announced that it is providing coffee fans an additional perk by introducing a line of edible Dunkin’ Coffee Thins at retailers nationwide this fall. Dunkin’, America’s all-day, every day stop for coffee and baked goods, is well known for making great-tasting coffee that’s convenient and accessible to its guests.
This innovative product extends Dunkin’s popular coffee brand, giving consumers the opportunity to enjoy the flavor of their favorite coffee in a whole new way.
Coffee Thins™ are rich, creamy confectionary treats made from Dunkin’s specially roasted coffee beans. Using a proprietary process, whole coffee beans are transformed into a silky-smooth square that is combined with natural ingredients to create an incredible, edible taste sensation.
The new Coffee Thins™ are smooth and creamy just like chocolate, but are instead made with real Dunkin’ coffee. Coffee Thins™ utilize the entire coffee bean, introducing an expanded range of natural coffee flavor.
“As America’s most loved, beverage-led on-the-go brand, we are always looking for new ways to delight consumers with the delicious taste of Dunkin’ coffee,” said Brian Gilbert, Vice President, Retail Business Development, Dunkin’ Brands. “Coffee Thins™ provide a delicious new way to experience the flavor of Dunkin’ coffee, in the form of a rich and creamy confectionary treat.”
Dunkin’ Coffee Thins™ are now available nationwide at all CVS drug store locations and other national grocery stores and retailers. Consumers can choose from two delicious flavors: Original Blend and Caramel. Additional flavors are also in development. Dunkin’ Coffee Thins™ will be sold individually and in 12-count bags.
According to Tierra Nueva CEO David Burke, Dunkin’ is the perfect partner for launching this innovation. “The Dunkin’ brand has been rated number one in coffee customer loyalty for 12 years in a row by Brand Keys. That is an incredible accomplishment. We want to help extend this record by introducing edible thins that deliver a tasty new way for people to enjoy the taste of their Dunkin’ coffee.”
