DUBLIN, Ohio, US –Tim Hortons U.S.A. has recently named Larry Mench to the position of Vice President of U.S. Operations.
Mench brings more than 30 years of restaurant industry experience in the quick-serve and fast-casual categories to the chain’s U.S. operations. Mench most recently worked with an organization that operates multi QSR units.
During his time with the organization, Mench led a team responsible for implementing new systems and controls across the restaurant concepts.
“Larry is a hands-on and passionate executive operations leader,” said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president Tim Hortons U.S. “He comes to us with a wealth of experience to draw upon in order to continue to grow the brand in the U.S.”
Among the roles held prior to his most recent position, Mench played a key leadership role in franchise development and operations with Five Guys Enterprises as the chain expanded throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.
He has also served as Director of Operations with Zeppe’s, Director of HR & Training with RTM Restaurant Group (the largest franchisee of Arby’s) and as a business consultant with McDonald’s.
Mench is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He and his wife of 26 years, Keely, currently reside in Columbus, Ohio. They have three college-age children.
