MILAN , Italy – You might think 165,000 square metres of floor space and ten halls would be plenty… But it isn’t enough for the 2015 edition of Tuttofood, the International Agri-Food Fair that will be held from 3 to 6 May 2015.
With just under a year to go until the fair opens some 1,000 exhibitor firms have already signed up to take part, the event is sold out and the organisers have had to open waiting lists. It has also confirmed its global vocation: in 2013 foreign visitors accounted for 40% of the total.
And next year’s edition of the fair begins just a few days after the opening of Expo 2015, giving all the firms taking part even more visibility.
The sectors into which Tuttofood is organised cover all aspects of the food business, from the traditional “pillars” of the industry to the latest trends. In addition to “classic” sectors such as Dairy, Meat and Charcuterie, Confectionery (with DolceItalia), Out-of-Home and Frozen Foods, next year will also feature a new Oil Arena.
Much attention will be focused on Fish and Seafood, as well as on Green Food, a sector that will group together organic, vegan, vegetarian, “free from”, functional and baby foods. There will also be a brand-new section for cereal-based (covering barley, rice, wheat, maize, spelt etc.), alongside the Multi-product sector.
So a whole new chapter in the history of Tuttofood and the agri-food business in Italy and around the world will be written from 3 to 6 May 2015.
It is also important to note the joint efforts made by Tuttofood and Host to give rise to Food Hospitality World, the platform for firms operating in the field of agri-food and professional hospitality that exploits the significant synergies generated by operating side by side. FHW takes place annually in Brazil, China, India, South Africa and Turkey.
The Bangalore edition has just ended; the next edition will be held in Canton, China, from 11 to 13 November.
