TRIESTE, Italy – Triestespresso Expo – the biennial trade fair devoted to espresso, which was due to take place from October 22 – 24, 2020, in Trieste, Italy – has been postponed due to the coronavirus emergency. The 10th edition of the event will take place, in the new Convention & Exhibition Center in the Old port of Trieste, in 2021. Dates are still to be determined.
By analysing a number of indicators – including the number of pre-registrations, foreign attendance, feedbacks from observers abroad monitoring the markets of reference – we concluded that we were not able to ensure the usual standards of quality in the organisation of the event said Antonio Paoletti, the President of Aries scarl-Chamber of Commerce Venezia Giulia.
“Therefore we have started consultations with businesses and associations in order to determine a possible date in 2021, when coffee trade shows will see a resumption.”
Triestespresso Expo brings together all actors of the espresso coffee industry under one roof in an exhibition designed for international coffee industry professionals. Among visitors target areas: Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Asian emerging markets.
The event is organised by Aries scarl-Chamber of Commerce Venezia Giulia, jointly with the Municipality of Trieste and in collaboration with the Trieste Coffee Association and Fipe
