LONDON – Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s expanding carrier, is teaming with Blue Dot World to sponsor the first ever London Coffee Stop Awards.
Through to April 2nd, coffee lovers are invited to vote for their favourite coffee shop from over 200 independent and 1,200 branded coffee shops across London.
The lucky coffee shop winner will receive two free return flights to Addis Ababa aboard Ethiopian’s B787 Dreamliner whilst coffee lovers will get the chance to sample free coffee at many of the outlets taking part.
Branded outlets participating include Starbucks, Caffè Nero and Harris & Hoole, as well as popular independent outlets such as Ozone Coffee Roasters, Artisan and Kaffeine. As Ethiopia is synonymous with coffee this marketing initiative, presented by Chris Ward at Blue Dot World has strong appeal.
Ethiopian has an important year in the UK as it steps up to daily services on its Heathrow to Addis Ababa route from July 8th, closely followed by its move on September 17th to the brand new Royal Terminal 2 at London Heathrow.
For participating outlets see www.coffeestopslondon.com.
Established in 1945, Ethiopian is the fastest growing airline in Africa, offering daily services aboard its ultra-modern fleet to 48 African destinations and very short connections through its Addis Ababa hub.
Connections on the African continent include popular holiday destinations such as Zanzibar, Mombasa, or Kilimanjaro and schedules to growing business centres such as Lagos and Johannesburg.
