Lynne Adams, 37, is so anxious to find love this Christmas that she’s had her online dating profile immortalised on 1,000 coffee cups and her face re-created as a stencil for frothy cappuccinos.
The owner of Glasgow’s Cup coffee shop and Lynne’s close friend, Paul Reynolds, agreed to help in her hunt by serving the cups to any eligible customers.
It’s all part of Lynne’s plans to boost her match.com profile after she took the plunge into the world of online dating.
Between her career and her love of the gym, romance had fallen by the wayside until her friends’ nagging convinced her to try online dating.
But after four months of trawling through profiles, she’d still had no luck and when the opportunity of boosting her chances via this quirky technique came about, she couldn’t refuse.
She explained: “I’ve always liked coffee shops and do a lot of my dating there.
“A lot of my dates say I’m quite a quirky person, and this is definitely quirky, so getting my profile out there using coffee suits me fine.“
