DUBAI – Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority (DMCC) announces the opening of Liwa Café in its Free Zone. The F&B outlet is owned by Shura Trading and Hotel Supplies and will serve a range of desserts, hot and cold beverages, including renowned illy coffee.
The launch of the new café at JLT coincided with the inauguration of The Coffee Training Institute (TCTI), which is the first coffee brewing training institute in the Emirate.
The opening of Liwa Café, a name that is derived from the renown Arabian Liwa Oasis, a beacon of hospitality, was hosted by the Al Mazroui Group Chairman, Rashed Al Mazroui, and Managing Director, Saeed Al Mazroui, and attended by Ahmed Bin Sulayman, Executive Chairman of DMCC, as well as other guests, family members and coffee enthusiasts.
Commenting on the opening, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, DMCC, said: “Our community is growing fast we are now over 8300 companies and we are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience of the over 85,000 people working and living in the DMCC Free Zone. Liwa Café is a welcome addition to our many F&B offerings.”
Located next to Liwa Café, in the Dubai Arch Tower, TCTI offers a wide range of training programs designed to cover various levels, from coffee enthusiasts wishing to brew the prefect cup at home, to expert baristas and custom made courses for large establishments and hotels. TCTI launched in affiliation with Università del Caffe, Trieste, Italy.
Liwa Café is on the lake level of Cluster G, in Dubai Arch Tower, and is open seven days a week from 7:00 AM until 12.00 Midnight.
