CORONA, CA – AVT, a leader in automated retailing systems, micro-stores, and kiosks, announced that they have placed their remarkable innovation, the Android-powered Gen2 Marley Coffee Automated Store in the Westside Pavilion Mall in Los Angeles.
The system comes fully equipped with first-of-its-kind technology, making for a number of features never before experienced on a self-service, automated coffee kiosk.
The Android-powered unit can accept debit, credit, and mobile wallet payments. Consumers may also use promo or coupon codes in connection to special offers. In addition, integrated video monitors can play commercials, music videos, or other customized media clips.
Owners of systems receive instant alerts and can collect informative data on purchasing patterns as well as gain information on inventory levels through AVT ‘s patented back end wireless management system.
“This system only existed on paper a short time ago,” stated Joe Menichiello, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Marley Coffee Stores. “Thanks to AVT ‘s progressive software design team and rapid R&D cycle, we are able to take an idea, move it forward, and get it built and placed out into the market in an astonishingly short period,” he added.
“We look forward to rolling these units out to other locations throughout the United States.”
Marley Coffee Stores plans on shipping new Gen2 units to other shopping malls nationwide, including the Westfield MainPlace, currently one of the most notable malls in the nation, featuring over 1.1 million square feet of retail space inside a fantastic indoor tri-level design.
