ATLANTA, GA – Prezi, an online company that helps its customers create graphically-enhanced presentations to promote ideas, messages and campaigns over the internet, has recognized Cozzee as one of the top five crowdfunding projects in the world.

The selection was part of the Fuel for Ideas Challenge, a competition launched by Prezi in partnership with RocketHub to select the best and most innovative crowdfunding projects in current development.

Crowdfunding is a new concept by which individuals can financially support a cause over the Internet. It empowers startups, small companies and projects, which no longer have to depend on traditional forms of financing.

Cozzee, a hybrid word for coffee and a cause, is the new, socially conscious way to support a world cause by buying premium coffee.

It gives away all of its profits from purchases to a cause chosen individually by its customers. Causes supported by Cozzee include water and wells, shirts and shoes, food and farming, justice and jury, health and healing, shelters and stability and rescue and restore.

In announcing in decision to recognize Cozzee, Prezi said that Cozzee is a “company dedicated to solving some of the most pressing challenges facing the world today […] Support their project to receive some amazing rewards and the fuzzy feeling that comes along with giving money to a worthy cause.”

To participate in the competition, project leaders had to create a prezi explaining their RocketHub projects, which Cozzee did successfully.

All five projects recognized by Prezi, including Cozzee, will continue their crowdsourcing campaign until December 15. At the end of the funding period, Prezi will select one finalist and disburse an award of $1,000.
