GRANTS PASS, OR – On Friday, Nov. 15, Dutch Bros. Coffee President and Co-Founder Travis Boersma will be the featured boss on CBS’s hit series “Undercover Boss.” Travis, normally laid-back and in board shorts, goes undercover as preppy nerd Sam Marshall from Texas.

As part of his undercover mission, Travis works with a plantation worker on a farm in El Salvador, a bean roaster at headquarters in Grants Pass, Ore., and a manager and a barista from locations disclosed on Friday’s episode.

“Seeing how hard these employees work and all that they’ve overcome, I’ve incorporated more gratitude in my mission statement for life,” said Travis. “I’m thankful to have so many great people as part of my team that I value so much.”

Undercover Boss, in its fifth season, is a two-time Emmy Award-winning reality series that follows high-level corporate executives as they slip anonymously into the rank-and-file of their own companies.

Each week, a different executive will leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their corporation

Dutch Bros. Coffee is the country’s largest privately held, drive-thru coffee company, with over 200 locations and over 2,000 employees in seven states.

The company is headquartered in Grants Pass, Ore., where it was founded twenty-one years ago by Dane and Travis Boersma, third-generation dairy farmers of Dutch descent.

Travis continues to lead the company after his brother Dane passed away in 2009, and the business still thrives on its family-centered values.

With a mission of, “Making a Difference, One Cup at a Time,” Dutch Bros. donates over $1 million annually to nonprofit organizations and local causes selected by local owner-operator.
