BEND, Ore. — The totals are in, and Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in Bend, Redmond and Sisters used their 10-Year Anniversary to raise $17,434 to support Habitat For Humanity.
“The $1 day was the busiest we’ve ever seen,” said Kaelyn Costa, Marketing Director for Dutch Bros. Central Oregon. “The response from the Central Oregon community was overwhelming. We are so humbled and grateful to be able to donate such a large amount. Thank you to everyone.”
All Central Oregon locations donated proceeds that day. To encourage participation Dutch Bros. sold all drinks for $1 and the proceeds support Habitat in Bend, Redmond and Sisters.
“We are amazed and feel incredibly blessed to receive this generous gift from Dutch Bros. of Central Oregon. It truly takes a village to support the children and adults that we serve everyday,” said Robin Cooper-Engle, Community Outreach Manager, Bend Area Habitat. “Partnerships like yours are a blessing and will allow us to serve even more low income people. We are truly thankful for Dutch Bros.”
“We are so thankful for the Dutch Bros. team and their fundraising efforts,” said Jaime Arnett, Community Outreach Manager, Redmond Habitat for Humanity. “The amount of money raised on will literally put a roof over the head of a family in need.”
Central Oregon locations, owned by Bill and Carol Smith, celebrated 10-years of business on Wednesday, July 9. Their first store was in Bend. The Smith’s now have eight stores throughout Bend, Redmond and Sisters. They love being a part of the community and supporting local causes. Since opening in 2004 they have given back over $500,000 to local causes.
