NEW ORLEANS – French Market Coffee, the true coffee of New Orleans, today announced it will host a series of pop-up cafes at citywide events and neighborhood grocery stores throughout the fall. Kicking off this Saturday, Nov. 1, at the sixth annual Jazz Half Marathon and 5K, teams from French Market Coffee will be handing out free cups of four of their bold roasts, as well as giveaways including mugs, T-shirts, sunglasses and more. The pop-up cafe debut expands on the launch of French Market Coffee’s new creative campaign: New Orleans Bold.
“We’ve been committed for more than 120 years to the little things that make New Orleans distinctly New Orleans,” said Eleanor Hohnstein, brand manager for French Market Coffee. “We’re thrilled to celebrate that quintessential New Orleans essence by giving away coffee at a series of pop-up cafes this fall. There are few things more New Orleans than people coming together in unexpected moments to savor rich, memorable experiences.”
French Market Coffee’s pop-up cafe during the Jazz Half Marathon will be located at the start and finish lines of the racecourse at Lafayette Square from 6 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 1. Spectators are encouraged to stop by for a free cup of any one of the four French Market Coffee roasts including the dark roast, coffee & chicory, French or decaf.
