Green Beans Coffee Company recently announced its opening in Concourse A of the Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). The restaurant is its first location in Pennsylvania.
The café offers made-to-order drinks, breakfast items, baked goods, specialty sandwiches, salads, fruit smoothies and other snacks.
“We’re proud of the quality coffee and cafe offerings available to travelers at the AIRMALL at PIT, and welcome Green Beans Coffee as another distinctive and unique option for travelers looking for a great cup of Joe or a fresh and fast bite to eat,” said Jay Kruisselbrink, senior vice president for AIRMALL USA, in a press release.
“Travelers can not only enjoy premium coffee, tea and meal options at Green Beans, they can feel good knowing that a portion of their purchases will help support our nation’s troops.”
Green Beans Coffee owns and operates cafes at military posts throughout the Middle East, Southwest Asia, Japan and Africa.
Domestically, the company’s cafes and Green Beans Coffee Osterias can be found in civilian airports, street-side locations and on military bases from New York to Hawaii.
A portion of every sale at all Green Beans locations is donated to military charities.
As part of its ongoing commitment to give back to military communities, Green Beans Coffee will host “Snowball Sunday” and donate 10 percent of every Sunday’s net proceeds from its PIT location to Snowball Express, a national charity that cares for the children of America’s fallen military heroes
