MCLEAN, Va. – Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) is partnering with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR), a leader in specialty coffee and single serve beverages with its innovative Keurig® brewing technology, to upgrade its in-room coffee and beverage offering.

Beginning today, guests in Hilton Garden Inn’s more than 73,000 guest rooms in the U.S. and Canada (69,811 in the U.S.; 3,255 in Canada) have the option to brew their favorite coffee using a Keurig® K130 single cup brewing system.

“Hilton Garden Inn believes that travel, whether for business or pleasure, should be an enjoyable experience – that’s why we’re constantly looking for ways to enhance our guestrooms, making them comfortable, convenient, and welcoming,” said Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn.

“We heard from our guests that being able to easily make the perfect cup of coffee in their room was an important part of their morning routine to start a productive day, so partnering with GMCR to bring its Keurig single cup brewers to our guestrooms was the perfect solution.”

According to a survey of 500 high-frequency travelers conducted by Carbonview Research, Inc., among the amenities surveyed, in-room coffee is second in importance, behind only WiFi.

Additionally, 78% of guests said in-room coffee was important, and single serve coffee is guests’ number one in-room coffee preference.

Hilton Worldwide’s Hilton Garden Inn brand is partnering with GMCR for its Keurig® single cup brewers, the number one coffeemaker brand in retail, according to NPD, a leading syndicated data provider, to extend this comfort to guests on the road.

Each guestroom will be supplied with four complimentary Keurig® K-Cup® packs.

In the U.S., guestrooms will include two Diedrichs® Regular Coffee, one Diedrichs Decaffeinated Coffee and one Bigelow® Black Tea K-Cup® packs.

In Quebec, guestrooms will include two Van Houtte® Colombian Dark Coffee, one Van Houtte Decaffeinated Coffee and one Bigelow Black Tea K-Cup® packs.

In the greater Canada area, guestrooms will include two Timothy’s® Rainforest Alliance Extra Bold Coffee, one Timothy’s Rainforest Alliance Extra Bold Decaffeinated Coffee and one Bigelow Black Tea K-Cup® packs.

Additionally, guests may choose to purchase specialty beverages at HGI’s 24-hour Pavilion Pantry convenience mart, located in the lobby area, which will feature eight Keurig Brewed® K-Cup® pack varieties, including

Starbucks®, Green Mountain Coffee®, Bigelow® Black Tea and  Café Escapes® hot cocoa.

Hilton Garden Inn and Keurig Partner to Help Guests Brew a Better Stay
