KOLOA, Hawaii – KonaRed Corporation announced yesterday it has signed a Letter of Intent to create a strategic partnership with Sparkling Drink Systems International (SDS), the Drinking Experience Company, specializing in beverages and at-home carbonation products.
SDS and KonaRed will together launch worldwide a line of powdered beverage pods co-developed exclusively for use with Viberation, SDS’ new generation of At-Home Carbonation appliances and portable beverage products which use a patented powered technology to deliver fizz, flavor and functional benefits all in one pod, in just two easy steps (insert pod and push to pierce) and with no CO2 cylinder.
“The market is looking for healthy drinks enhanced with functional benefits such as antioxidants and we are delighted that KonaRed has partnered with us to offer their wellness beverages to consumers using our new zero CO2 cylinder technology,” states Serge Bueno SDS’ Founder and Executive Chairman.
“Our strategy is to have one or two major brands covering all of our functional benefit soft drinks plus a range of brands to cover specifics such as children, sport and natural organic beverages, etc., and KonaRed fits perfectly into this strategy,” continues Bueno.
The KonaRed / Viberation co-branded beverage range is expected to include original Hawaiian CoffeeBerry, Organic Green Tea and Coconut Water flavor pods and be available in the United States in late 2014.
