GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo – Maui Wowi Hawaiian, the popular coffee and fresh fruit smoothie concept, has been listed as one of the “50 Top Franchises for Veterans” for the second year in a row by The World Franchising Network.
The list was recently featured in the June 20, 2014 issue of USA TODAY in the Franchising Today section.
This is the fifth annual listcompiled and published by The World Franchising Network, which selects 50 franchisors from over 300 companies based on criteria submitted through a questionnaire. Qualifiers note the total number of operating units owned by veterans and are shown to steadily increase their veteran representation.
“Franchising is shown to be an exemplary path for military veterans looking to become entrepreneurs,” said Justin Livingston, Vice President of Business Development at Maui Wowi Hawaiian.
“Maui Wowi makes the transition seamless by providing the tools and systems needed for success and the support you can only get through an ‘ohana (family) like ours.”
Also recognized as a Top Military Friendly Franchiseby G.I. Jobs, Maui Wowi Hawaiian actively recruits veterans and offers a year-round discount of 10% off the franchise fee. The company has a presence at military bases across the U.S. and is also a member of VetFran.
Maui Wowi specializes in flexible business models such as the mobile event unit known as the Ka’anapali Cart that brings the product to the people. Its fun lifestyle concept has captivated customers and business owners for over three decades and continues to expand with franchise opportunities still available.
