ALEXANDRIA, VA – DAR (Drink and Recharge) Coffee Roasters is launching a range of handcrafted coffees blended with spices to give them an exciting extra dimension. A variety of blends is available to suit different tastes and purposes.

Founder Omar Albraky has a passion for both drinking and handcrafting coffee, an art he has been perfecting over more than 2 years. Once happy with his coffee blends, he then experimented with enhancing them by adding different spices.

The grinding level used for Turkish coffee allows for the highest extraction of both flavor and caffeine. Most of the extra-fine ground coffee known as “Turkish coffee” imported to the United States comes from large roasting plants located overseas; it can take months to reach the shelves in your local grocery store. By this time the coffee has lost most of its unique flavor.

“Our goal is to present the freshest coffee – roasted, ground and packed here in the US,” says Albraky, “We will be roasting small batches of 100% premium Arabica coffee beans, crafted into special blends, and mixed with traditional and unique spices to satisfy our customers’ tastes.”

DAR Coffee Roasters is raising funds for the launch through Kickstarter.com – coffees will be available in the fall of 2014. Those wishing to help fund the project will have the opportunity to be the first to try the unique blends also they will be always recognize as a big part of establishing this dynamic enterprise.
