DENVER – Marley Coffee is announcing its sponsorship of two winter events in Colorado, combining a passion for music, snow sports, and world-class competition.
Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks concert (Jan. 30) and the 2015 FIS Alpine SWorld Ski Championships (Feb. 2-15).
Building upon the foundation of a musical legacy with earth-friendly and cause-minded roots, Marley Coffee will be the sole coffee sponsor at Icelantic’s 4th Annual Winter on the Rocks concert featuring Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Major Lazer and Holy Ghost! on Jan. 30 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Now one of Colorado’s most iconic events, Winter on the Rocks coincides with the 2015 SnowSports Industries America (SIA) Snow Show, the snow sports industry’s largest trade show held in Denver, CO.
Partnered with The House of Marley and a mix of prominent national and Colorado brands, Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks brings together snow sports enthusiasts, outdoor lifestyle devotees and passionate music fans to celebrate wintertime in Colorado at one of the most iconic venues in the world.
Rohan Marley, Founder and Chairman of Marley Coffee said, “Coffee, music, and sports are great unifiers. We are proud to embrace a passion of the people where our headquarters are located – these amazing snow sports and music showcases are a natural extension for us to get involved in the community.
We hope to enhance these already unique experiences with Marley Coffee and create another way for fans to embrace the Marley Family legacy here in Colorado.”
At Winter on the Rocks, Marley Coffee will have an area in the vendor village to serve espresso beverages, drip coffee and hot chocolate to keep attendees warm. Ambassadors will be on site hosting games, prize giveaways, sampling coffee, and providing education regarding the coffee and the company’s sustainability initiatives.
Marley Coffee will continue to partner with the sports community as the official coffee supplier at the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail and Beaver Creek. Marley Coffee will have a daily presence throughout the World Championships in all VIP hospitality areas, at the Red Tail Finish Stadium, various concession points on the mountain and throughout Beaver Creek Village.
The World Championships represent the largest and most impressive collection of ski racing talent in the world, second only to the Olympics.
Organized by the Vail Valley Foundation, the 2015 World Championships will mark the third time that Vail Valley has played host to this prestigious international event, and only the fourth time the event has been held in the United States.
