MILAN – Coffee shipments from Vietnam, the world’s largest producer and exporter of the Robusta variety, are expected to drop an estimated 15.5 percent in the first half of calendar year 2017, government data showed on Thursday.
Exports are estimated at 829,000 tonnes, or 13.8 million 60-kg bags during the January-June period, the source said. Shipments are seen this month at 120,000 tonnes.
