MILAN – Vietnam’s coffee exports in September reached an estimated 100,000 tonnes, or 1.66 million bags up 57.3% on year, the country’s General Statistics Office reported in its monthly report. This brings overall exports during the 2013/14 coffee year (October-September) to 1.64 million tonnes, or 27.33 million bags, up 15.5% on year.
The figures are in line with market expectations.
GSO also revised upwards August figures to 97,800 tonnes, from an earlier estimate of 90,000 tonnes.
