MILAN – Vietnam’s coffee output is likely to reach a total of 1.69 million metric tons in coffee year 2014/15, almost unchanged on last year’s record figure of 1.71 million tons, according to the median of 10 trader estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
This is slightly better than last month’s prediction of 1.64 million tons. Unsold stocks held by the farmers at the end of September totaled about 3% of the previous crop, the survey also showed.
