The Golden Bean Awards

Celebrating its nineteenth year in Australia and tenth year in North America, the Golden Bean Awards stand as the world’s largest global coffee roasting competition, extending its reach to Asia. Open to all Asian countries, this event is a celebration of global coffee excellence and new friendships.

It attracts some of the biggest names in coffee industry not just from Australia, but New Zealand, and China and beyond. Walcha Coffee’s success in this international competition for two consecutive years speaks volumes.

In Walcha’s inaugural year, 2022, they clinched two prestigious bronze medals out of six entries. This year, Walcha Coffee elevated its standing by securing three bronze and two silver medals out of just seven entries.
