Barista & Farmer, the first international talent show dedicated entirely to the world of top-quality coffee, has released three new episodes. In episode number 7, Barista & Farmer introduces Chinese barista David Lau, the first asian participant in the history of the coffee talent show.
The video features Elkin Guzman, coffee expert and quality control manager for finca El Mirador. Michele Cannone, Head of Food Service of Lavazza explains the concepts of resilience and sustainability about coffee, due to the collaboration with the Tierra! Project by Lavazza.
Diego Campos won the special award for best picker of the day by Lavazza. The video ends with the cooking competition, won by team Six Monkeys.

Episode number 8 shows the amazing trip of the baristas on the Chiva, the super-coloured and absolutely noisy bus used to move around the arduous little streets of the Huila department. The protagonist barista is Australian Glenn Bailey who underlines even more the hospitality of the Colombian people. The Chiva bus ride was organized by Coocentral, a coffee cooperative who gathers more than 4 thousand coffee producers from seven municipalities of Huila, as explained by its general manager Mauricio Rivera.

Episode 9 introduces russian barista Vicktoria Rovenskaya. The video shows the baristas leaving the Huila region and their return to Bogota. The second half of the video presents Croatian participant Matija Matijasko. Archeologist Fabiola Pena Ortiz is back, here she is seen playing a guitar while singing a popular Colombian song about coffee.
