SUSEGANA, Treviso, Italy — The most important coffee event in Europe is coming: World of Coffee, which this year will be held in Amsterdam from 21st to 23rd June. Three days packed with excitement will provide visitors with the opportunity to find out about the latest coffee industry trends and to meet the top baristas as they prepare to take each other on in the World Barista Championship.
On the Wega Macchine per Caffè stand (B38 on the Floor Plan), pride of place will be reserved for the Urban, Wega’s latest creation, designed specifically for coffee professionals.
The Urban is equipped with Wega Power technology, featuring Wega Power Boost for enhanced yield in extremely busy periods, Wega Power Steam for dry steam that supply a foaming milk, with drier characteristics, and a lower percentage of condensation, and finally Wega Power Regulation, which allows accurate temperature monitoring thanks to enhanced temperature regulators.
In addition, the Urban is equipped with all the latest and most advanced technologies on the market, including a steam tap with a dedicated knob that allows the practical and fast rotation of only 90°, both in opening and closing; the ability to communicate directly to Customer Service; and the optional inclusion of a Wi-Fi packet allowing all the machine’s functions and programming to be controlled remotely (via laptop, tablet or smartphone).
Urban is a machine with a low environmental impact, the perfect reflection of Wega’s Green philosophy: thanks to the use of separate boilers for each individual group and a consumption monitoring system, it provides a guaranteed energy saving of 47.6% in stand-by mode and 30% in operation.
Also on display at the exhibition will be the 3-group Vela Vintage, a retro-style, lever-operated machine, the 2-group Polaris, an extremely sought-after machine due to its elegant design and excellent reliability, and the 2-group Mininova Ema, Wega’s compact machine.
