Through a new development partnership with German company My App Café GmbH, WMF is demonstrating the huge financial opportunities that cutting-edge robotics and automation concepts can deliver. The partnership is focusing on the fully automatic MyAppCafé product – a revolutionary, robot-controlled coffee service solution that is set to be a feature of train stations, airports, universities, hospitals and shopping centres in the future.
“In the process of developing Germany’s first robot barista, we wanted to find a machinery supplier with a range of solutions that represented the very best in reliability and innovative strength. Customer journey 4.0 – The new WMF payment platform
Customers have come to expect cashless payment options in today’s shopping experiences. Now, the new WMF payment platform provides a comprehensive solution for companies that have an eye on the future and want innovative customer touchpoints to be a feature of their coffee businesses. The platform not only accommodates the preferred payment method, but also offers a whole range of accompanying functions (such as personalised beverage options) in order to adapt fully to the customer’s wishes.
A flexible framework makes it easy to incorporate both payment provider concepts that are widely known on the market and customer-specific solutions or apps. WMF’s new digital platform even features the ability to display individual payment processes in the form of a paper or app-based voucher. Not only that, but it can also be used to control and monitor the ordering and payment concepts built into autonomous coffee stations – like the new MyAppCafé.
Customer-centric engineering
The new WMF 1300 S fully automatic machine will take centre stage in the machine innovations that WMF is showcasing at Internorga. With a recommended daily capacity of up to 120 cups on average, and up to three optionally lockable hoppers, this speciality machine provides a reliable choice wherever coffee is on offer.
The high-performance milk systems ensure that the quality of the beverages remains consistently high, whether they use cold milk, hot milk or hot milk foam.
The machine is enhanced by features including a design concept that provides efficient access for servicing, plus an integrated cup stop for ensuring that cups, mugs and glasses are positioned in exactly the right place. Rounding everything off are the options to customise the colour of the machine housing and set up a link to the WMF CoffeeConnect telemetry solution.
