On 21 and 22 September, the Nuova Simonelli Technical Centre for training, in Belforte del Chienti, will host a session for World Coffee Event certification reserved for those aspiring to act as judges in national and international competitions for baristas.
On Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 September, Nuova Simonelli Technical Training Centre will host a session for World Coffee Event Certification reserved for those aspiring to act as judges in international competitions for baristas.
In a few weeks, in more than fifty countries around the world, the national championships for baristas will begin to designate the champion finalists for the World Barista Championship to be held in Dublin in June 2016.
In addition to the baristas in the competition, the judges then prepare to face the most important and prestigious event in the world of coffee with the utmost professionalism.
To participate in the event, the judges must be certified by the WCE (World Coffee Event), which organises workshops lasting two days, in different locations around the world and Belforte del Chienti is one of them.
The certification given at the end of the workshops is also useful to be a judge in national competitions.
During the two days, the WCE trainers – coordinated by Anne Marie Tiemes, responsible for SCAE
Education – will lead participants through a series of performance and evaluation tests to measure their ability as judges to carry out their duties successfully during national and international competitions.
Just three weeks ago the Technical Centre in Belforte del Chienti, equipped and certified to help all those working in the coffee industry to develop professionally, hosted a “Q Grader”.
This was for highly specialised professionals. Now this new event, sponsored by World Coffee Event, gives more prestige to the training facility created within Nuova Simonelli.
